About Me
My name is Brianna Parreira. I am a Fleming College fourth semester student in the Early Childhood Education Program. I have completed a 14 day block placement at Peterborough Day Care Centre, and two 7 week block placement's at Northview Day Care & Nursery School, and St. Paul's CES.
2015 I was inspired to enroll in the Early Childhood Education program at Fleming College because I really enjoy working with children. Prior to this program, I have worked with children in different settings - as an older sibling to three young children and as a childcare provider. Through these experiences I have learned that working with children is a passion of mine and I would like to pursue it as a future career.
My personal interests include traveling because I enjoy experiencing different cultures. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and exercising.
I look forward to building different relationships with the children, families and staff members who I am working with. Also, I am ready to learn new skills and techniques for working with children through my experiences.

The Occupational health and safety awareness training provides a basic understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), and does not replace any sector specific, hazard specific, or competency specific training.
Level One: Informed Support Person ~ Sexual Violence Training Participant
Students learned information about sexual violence statistics and myths to better understand how the continuum of sexual violence is a societal issue. Students also became informed on how to be a good support person during and after a disclosure of sexual assault or sexual violence. One hour duration.
